Loving the Merlin Passes – part 2 – Chessington

By | August 19, 2016

Continuing with “Loving the Merlin Passes” we visited Chessington World of adventure located in Surrey, this really is a fantastic attraction for all ages. We arrived late morning after a nightmare journey, if scorching weather, the park was fairly quiet considering the weather so the queues were reasonable.

The children love it at Chessington, when we have visited in the past it has been on coach tours I have organised, and on a weekend, so our time is usually limited, and we have to carefully plan which attractions will endure all ages have fun, this visit we were able to stroll around and really take in how lovely this park is.

We loved the Zufari adventure, we got up close to the animals which delighted the little ones and even the teen 🙂 Indie has never been so close to animals and was totally in awe of them.

We also loved the Valley of the Kings, the children are all animal lovers, so spent quite some time watching and discussing the magnificent animals.

The girls were really excited for Bubbleworks, they don’t remember the last time they went on as one was a baby the other a toddler, and the ride did not disappoint, they were really delighted and we travelled along on our wet bottom boat, I think Indies face in the photo says more than anything I could write.

We also rode Dragons Fury, Scorpion Express, Dragons Fury, Tomb Blaster, Dragon Falls and Sea Storm,, we left the thrill rides on this visit as we have been on all of them in the past, we had an amazing day, we will visit again, but next time it will be over 2 days as this park is very large and packed with things to do.

Other Merlin attractions we have visited are:

Shreks Adventure, The London Eye, Sealife
