A few months ago i won a competition for Amazing intimate Usher gig courtesy of Mastercard #pricelesssurprises the prize was a intimate gig in London, bit of a trek but really well worth it. We stayed in the London City Holiday Inn express, which i would highly recommend, it was spotlessly clean and the staff were very attentive, one tip arrive early as free parking spots are limited and on a first come first served basis. The concert was in St Lukes,Old street, a gorgeous intimate venue, with complimentary drinks and food, not like me to miss out on food, but i was so excited ( I know how childish am I lol ) to see Usher i didn’t eat a thing. We were first in the queue and had a nice wait chatting to other fans, I was quite jealous of the fans that won a meet and greet though 🙁 We Were in the front row and able to get some fab pics and videos
But little did we know the best was yet to come :)At the end of the gig we wandered around the back close to where we were parked and decided to hang around to try and get a little glimpse of Usher, we began chatting to 2 fascinating people one of which had flown from Tenerife to stand at the back of the gig for a pic with Usher, the other has a facebook page jam packed with celebrity pics, we were joined by a young couple and decided to wait with them for a while. Eventually Labrinth came out and was kind enough to chat and have pics taken with us, really nice guy.
Labrinth told us Usher wouldn’t be much longer then wandered off down the street. About half hour later Usher came out and was also happy to have a pic with us despite, his security insisting he shouldn’t. My daughter was quite embarrassed at me shouting “Usher Baby” to him, he found it quite funny though.
